Just saw the posters for the new nightmare retelling. I'm just so torn as to how I should I should think and feel about this. A part of me is dieing to see what they produce and the other part of me is just wanting them to leave the franchise alone as it doesn't need a retelling or remake.
Freddy was like my Anti hero growing up. The characters, victims, effects, make-up, dream sequences, philosophy, imagination, horror, spirit and humour and the fear of dark that I haven't quite gotten over, were all reasons that kept me obsessed. It is this last comment that has caused a quiver of excitement when I saw these posters on Yahoo.
Anyone else, apalled, excited or interested in this movie?
